Link to another PS system - CSS and JS issue

Within our PeopleSoft HCM system (PT8.57.06) we have a tile that opens up a custom page within our PeopleSoft ELM system (PT8.54) that worked as expected prior to our recent PeopleTools upgrade (from PT8.56.04).

The issue we now face is as follows:

  1. Click the tile in HCM - ELM page opens with a PSC url in a new browser tab
  2. ELM page has a number of links to other pages in ELM
  3. If you click a link we lose all functionality:
    • The page is blank except for the hyperlink we just clicked (displayed as a link followed by ]]> )
    • In the browser developer tools I can see only 1 HTTP POST request for the button click
