PeopleSoft Platform move from Windows to Linux

I'm in the process of moving our middle tier from Windows to Linux. The middle tier being: App, Batch and Web. The DB is already on Linux.

Doc ID 2430983.1 advises:

There are two methods for installing a new PeopleSoft application using DPK as below (note: both methods use the PeopleSoft image, such as HCM PUM 29):

>> METHOD 1 - Manually setting up a database that is either DEMO or SYSTEM, unicode or non-unicode and non-multitenant

1. Download the PeopleTools DPK for the relevant Tools patch matching the Tools patch level of the application software. For example, if HCM PUM 29 is based on PeopleTools 8.57.03, then you should download all the DPK zip files for 8.57.03 into a folder on the local host machine - call this folder DPK_INSTALL.

Howdy, Stranger!
