SBC Backup Automation

Hi,

Have any of you tried to automate downloading of the backup/running config file of SBC without Session Delivery Manager?

Is it safe to download the running config file (/code/gzConfig/dataDoc.gz) then renamed the downloaded file?

  --OR--

Do I need to create a backup first using CLI then download that backup file (/code/bkups/...)?

The goal is to have a scheduled backup of SBC configuration to an external SSH server, every two weeks for example.

I tried it with Solarwinds but it can only backup the CLI output. And, uploading it back will definitely fail because the SBC can't just copy paste the whole config.
