PeopleSoft Authentication happens even with wrong password

Hi All,

I came across a strange thing in Peoplesoft today.

I was trying to login into my HCM 9.1 PT 8.55 environment this morning but accidently gave a WRONG password. However, I found the authentication happened and I was logged in successfully.

I then tried multiple times with random passwords but the authentication was still happening for any random password.

PS user is working fine but I encounter this only for AD users. I have LDAP authentication in place using Microsoft Active Directory.

Any suggestion on how to proceed on this issue is highly appreciable. Thanks !
