Has anyone found a solution to the severe limits Office 365 enforces on number of emails per minute?
We frequently send notifications of bid openings to many vendors. It is imperative they all receive the notifications at (virtually) the same time to avoid charges of favoritism or unfairness.
We recently moved to Office 365 and ran up against the limit of sending no more than 30 emails each minute. Our alerts usually go out to 70 or more vendors.
This is the message in the log file:
-> com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 432 4.3.2 STOREDRV.ClientSubmit; sender thread limit exceeded [Hostname=BY5PR09MB3875.namprd09.prod.outlook.com]
Has anyone else come up against this limit? If so, were you able to overcome it?
