Creating Employees as Sales Persons

Hi,

   We have a requirement to use OIC to calculate and pay bonus to all the Employees.
Do we need to create resources for all the Empoyees?
Do we need to define all the Employees as Sales Persons to be able to Pay them the Bonus? Keeping in mind we have Jobs like Store Keeper and DBA to be paid.
Can we use the Employee current Position/Grade/Job to drive the amount to paid ? or we need to create Resource Roles corresponding to these Position/Grade/Job?
