Merchandise Hierarchy

Hi, we are planning to reorganize our Merch Hierarchy, as it was defined incorrect during the implementation (years ago) and we need to do a clean up, define a correct hierarchy for the future

like out Dept was defined at Category + Brand level and we want to move brand to Subclass level,

Can anyone explain what the general impacts we need to note by doing any merch hierarchy reorganization?
