translation-rule count for a session agent

edited Mar 7, 2020 4:00AM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

On an older AP3820 customer had out-translationid configured under session-agent.

There are in total 17 definitions for translation-rule entires / strings to be deleted under 1 translationid

Moving this configuration to AP3900 running 8.3.0 we discover that if the number of translation-rules under a translationid is 3 or more, the rule execution fails and string from the beginning is not removed.

If there is 1 or 2 translation-rule entries under a translationid, execution works perfectly.

We tested this by adding / removing different translation-rules and result was always similar - with 3 entries, execution fails, with 2 rules, execution works.

What is confusng is that sipd log displays several entries for matching ruleset:

Howdy, Stranger!
