PTF Query Exec- Not downloading the file in excel spreadsheet

Hi,

We are using Query.Exec in PTF 8.55.25 on IE 11.

However, when it tries to download the query results in Execl spreadsheet, We are getting the message: waiting for IE notification bar

the PTF just hangs on this Query download and we cannot do anything after that.

I did a research on My Oracle support and found its a known issue and is resolved in PTF 8.57.

We cannot however upgrade to PTF8.57.

Is there any workaround for our current version of PTF?
