Batch print/Bursting RTF template based BI publisher report

I have an existing self service BI publisher report(rtf template) that I am trying to convert to Batch print/Burst. Existing report prints only one employee information at a time and using Batch print/Burst I want to process multiple employee information. I am able to generate custom XML file require for batch printing. At the template/ template configuration what changes do I need? Template is an RTF template and output is PDF. (I did a similar change for a PDF based template and all I had to do was create new xml file for batch and pass it to the template).
