PeopleTools 8.56 best practice to remove old blocked processes from process monitor

Campus Solutions 9.2 Bundle 15, PeopleTools 8.56.20

We have a number of "Blocked" processes hanging around that went unnoticed. The newest is from 8 months ago, the oldest is from 2011. What is the best practice for removing them?
