Hi there,

   In the upgrade to FSCM 9.2/PT8.57.10, we have the Virtual Box up and running with PUM 35; now we are configuring the PSCA and have installed the ORCL client.

However, the light client (and SQLplus) on the VM, cannot access the DB on the VBox, namedly FS92PM35, the client does not have tnsping / listener to test the connectiion.

After adding the VBox IP address (FQDN) to the Windows host,  by launching SQLplus, it could not connect to the DB returning: ORA-12504 or ORA-12538.

   The tnsname.ora has been downloaded from the Vbox to the local ORACLE_HOME; TNS_ADMIN is set to point to it.
