Contracts Manage Deliverables ability to capture additional information from Supplier

in Procurement - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hello, I'm needing assistance with options for capturing additional informtion from Supplier for Contract Deliverables for R12.1.3.

Deliverables and their DFF functionality (Doc ID: 1344644.1) explains the DFF for Deliverable Additional Information and why this DFF is information only to Suppliers and cannot be used for the Supplier to provide additional information on the Deliverables.

Enhancement Request has been loaded for this functionality. Bug 12809932 : ENH: NEED ADDITIONAL INFO BE CAPTURED ON MANAGE DELIVERABLES PAGE

On one of our Contract Deliverables for a contract specific bond, we are looking for a document ID and start date that can be collected as structured data for reporting.  I am wondering if anyone can share any workarounds they been put in place to collect other additional information from Supplier as they submit these Deliverables?
