Pivot Grids - Changing Results Limit & Performance Implications
Hello all,
As we continue to increase our usage of Pivot Grids, we are considering updating the Oracle-delivered max Pivot Grid row limit from 100 to something higher. Right now we're considering 300 since that is also what we have for general search results across the system. Beyond the caution against unlimited results, however, PeopleBooks does not appear to provide further direction or recommendations on changing this setting.
I am curious to know:
- What are other users doing with the delivered setting?
- What are the performance implications for increasing it?
- Does the fact that Fluid Pivot Grids utilize Lazy Loading in the results mitigate some of the performance risks of increasing the row limit?
