Ad Hoc approval in journal AWE Workflow - + button doesn't do anything

Hi, we are testing AWE Workflow for journals and I am basically using the delivered setup and the + button to add an ad hoc approver doesn't do anything when I press it. Is it a security access issue or something else? Thanks, Susan
