Using LOV for values greater then 30 Length

Hi All

Kindly, we have 2 pick-list items, one parent and second is chilled,

We have to add values in the list of values with a length of more than 30 characters (the maximum which display value can hold).

We are trying to use Description 1 (as it can handle 100 characters) but unfortunately when using Description values the hierarchical picklist is not working and is not showing the child list values when parent list is selected.

Please suggest a workaround.

Siebel: 8.1.1.10

Linux 7.5

DB: 11.0.2
