PeopleTools Upgrade Using DPKs

Hi All

First a little history. When we first upgraded to PT 8.56 and CS 9.2 we used the CS upgrade DPKS to deploy software. Everything was installed to one base directory, similar to:

PSFT\cfg-home

PSFT\cust-home

PSFT\db

PSFT\dpk

PSFT\pt

PSFT\pt\bea

PSFT\pt\cs_app_home

PSFT\pt\jdk

PSFT\pt\ps-home

Later when applying a PT 8.56 patch with a PeopleTools DPK, we deployed new WebLogic, Tuxedo, etc software and the directories now look more like this (NOTE: Oracle client software was not installed with the DPK):

PSFT\cust-home

PSFT\db

PSFT\dpk

PSFT\pt\cs_app_home
