Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. PreDefault property working intermittently

Hi All,

We are facing an issue where the field value is not updating always on the DB level.

Pre-Default property on a Field is Set to 0 and Link Specification is set to 'False' as well.

Field is based on a column(ATTRIB_01) which is available on extension table( _X) of the BC and Table.

Can you please let me know if in this case as well the Link Specification needs to be set to 'True' ?
