Using an External Bank Account for different Business Unit

Hi,

We had recently(in Year end 2019) closed a Business Unit. Now, we are trying to use a External Bank Account used for this Business Unit in a different Business Unit. We are trying to close all Transactions for this Bank Account.

We are planning to change the 'GL Unit' in "External Accounts"page. Can you please let us know if this works. Also, what would be the impact and things we need to lookout for.
