Environment Variable Not Working in 1 Environment

Good Afternoon,

We have a custom process type for PGP that moves files from shared folders to other shared folders in our PeopleSoft environment.  We are currently upgrading PeopleTools from 8.55 to 8.57 and have put this new environment variable on the command line and file output directory on this process type.  The new environment variable is working in our TST environment but not our QUA environment.  Why would it work in 1 environment but not the other when both environments are on the same Windows server?
