Elastic Search Windows or Linux

Hi All,

I wanted to reach our and ask in the PeopleSoft Community for those whow have Elastic Search running, what OS platform have you had it installed, and have you had any issues with it? 

I know it can be run on Windows or Linux.  We currently have ES installed on Windows Servers and are contemplating a move to Linux.

I am not looking for specs, as we are pretty familiar with that. 

We are looking at experience of running on Linux, any advantages\disadvantages that you may have encountered with running it on Linux vs Windows.
