Considering a PT upgrade from 8.55 to 8.58 and a DB upgrade from 12c to 19c

We are currently on 9.2/8.55, and are discussing upgrading our Oracle database from 12c to 19c, which would also necessitate a PT upgrade from 8.55 to 8.58. I had a few questions I was hoping people could help answer:

1. We use a very customized, non Fluid, experience. Do we *need* to use Fluid in 8.58, or can it be disabled so we can continue to use classic?

2. For anybody who has done this type of upgrade from 8.55 to 8.58, is there anything in specific I should focus on in my testing that you ran into problems with?

3. From a database standpoint, are there any potential issues with upgrading from 12c to 19c, or anything in particular that I should spend extra time testing?
