Upgrading 8.53 to 8.57 with Oracle 19

Hi

We are planning on doing an upgrade from an older Peopletools version 8.53.  Part of that is moving to Oracle DB 19.  Peopletools 8.53 and 8.57/8.58 only have Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 as mutually certified.  We were planning on doing Peopletools first on one weekend, then the following weekend, move the database to Oracle 19.

Even though 8.53 is not certified on 19, could we do this all in one weekend:

1.  Move the database on 8.53 to an Oracle 19 instance (uncertified)

2.  Upgrade the database Peopletools to 8.57 or 8.58 there

3.  deploy Peopletools to 8.57/8.58 to new Linux servers

4.  Start the application and test.

If any issues with the upgrade at all, we could fall back to 8.53 and old servers.
