User Membership Rules for roles not applied when account created using Self registration.

Hello Gurus...

We've got an IDM environment (11g) set up and we incorporated self registration for our user community.

Through testing, we're seeing that any roles that have been defined with membership rules are not applied when a user account is created using the self registration tool.

They do apply successfully when we create a user with the Identity Management console.

It seems like there's some kind of post operation that's not happening for the roles?  Can anyone point me in the right direction to get these roles applied as part of the self registration process?
