Hi guys,

I was wondering if make sense or not to use for EOM the SBC as probe but also to mirror the switch interfaces of that SBC?

The problem is that i see sometimes for the same segment 2 different media summary and details:

1. reporter : OCOM-RTP-PROBE

2. reporter: SBC-RTP

And for reporter 1 which is the OCOM-RTP_PROBE i see a lot of packets dropped....so the quality showed is below the one from reporter 2.

My colleagues mirror all SBC interfaces to this probe so i guess is normal to drop packets in high traffic.

So my question is if i should remove the mirroring and use only SBC as probe. Can i use also this to record calls or for this i need the mirror?
