PeopleSoft Password Controls - Conflict with LDAP

Hi all,

Just wondering if I can get expert advise on how you had implemented password controls in PeopleSoft - along with AD/LDAP integration.

We're planning to implement PeopleSoft password controls in our instance - PeopleSoft 9.1, PeopleTools 8.53. There are users who have an AD account and do not have passwords specified in their user profile(two-tier passwords) and there are others who have an AD account plus passwords on their user profile(to help login to App Designer).

My question is - how do you address issues arising out of users entering incorrect passwords in PeopleSoft? The following is a scenario where I'd like to get your inputs on how you had handled it (or) if you have ideas for automation.
