Q: If the PUM images come with the windows clients, does the customer require OS licenses from Microsoft for each of these images? How is this all licensed?

A: No.  Once you are an Oracle/Psft customer, the ability to use the Linux client and the Oracle database included in the Images "is included".

Q: We are using Msft Sql Server as backend database server.  When I install PT 8.54 client to use PUM should I use PT license for Oracle database or Microsoft SQL server License?

A:  Use the PeopleTools license code for Oracle  when installing the PT8.54 client, in order to access the image.   You can obtain license codes for PeopleSoft products at
