1099 FATCA box

A new check box was added to Form 1099-MISC to identify an FFI filing this form to satisfy its chapter 4 reporting requirement.  What do we need to do within PeopleSoft to enable the check box on the 1099-MISC to be checked?

Please follow the steps below in order to enable the check box for the FATCA Indicator:

1.  Navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Withholding > Withholding Entities

2.  Display the IRS Withholding Entity

3.  Click on the Entity Fields - Supplier tab

4.  Under the Supplier Fields, for "FATCA Filing Requirement", check either the Required or Optional field
