Language in the MOSC post vis a vis in the notification mail

I received a mail notification in my outlook and the post contents are in french. Surprisingly, when I see the post, it's in english. Is that possible? If yes, it's a great feature indeed.:)

One possibility is that the poster has initially written and posted in french but then deleted and posted in english again. Is it possible to figure that out?
