Global search bar icon is not displaying on home page

Hi All,

We are trying to explore new features in 8.58 tools and HCM PUM 35. We couldn't see global search bar or search icon on the fluid home pages. I verified all below settings and everything looks correct in DMO instance. do we have to install SES framework? Please help u sin providing doc or instructions guidelines to enable search on home page .


  1. Make sure that the Global Search Bar is enabled. Global Search bar can be enabled. Do this as follows:
  2. a. Navigate to PeopleTools -> Portal -> General Settings
  3. b. In the “Portal Search Options”, check: Display Global Search in Header
