Approvals Tile - showing very old items, any way to clear out?

Hi, the approvals tile (we are testing for our upgrade to PUM37) is showing some very old items as needing approval - for example cash advances and expense reports. Is there any way to clear those out? What tables, etc.? The view used to find the transactions needing approval seems to be PS_HMAP_SUMMDTL_VW.
