Sync On-prem Oracle 19C primary with Aure VM standby DB

Hello,

I have a requirement to migrate an on-premise Oracle database to Azure cloud.

The database will be 19c on RHEL 7 and 7TB in size.

Client wants there to be replication and sync between the on-prem and Azure environment via dataguard for the production environment to ensure that switching over (through dataguard) of Primary (On-prem) DB to Azure DB (Stand-by) is done so that there can be continuous replication until final application cutover.

Theoretically speaking, this should not be impossible. I would like to verify that this is a viable option and also if there are any things to put into consideration with this plan.
