Journal Entry Template in PeopleSoft

Dear All

We are using PSFSCM 9.2 PT 8.53 with zero image update. Kindly guide is it possible to add a new field/record here in create/update journal entry of alphanumeric 12 characters and than map it with the GL entry offline template (already in use of ours) thus bridging these two and as the GL entry offline template is in frequent use of our Finance department they would like to insert the 12 characters alphanumerical in the excel sheet and than upload it.

GL Entry offline template:

anywhere in the already available columns the 12 alphanumeric value to be inserted in GL entry excel sheet for easy filling and than it's get uploaded in the above (new field alphanumeric 12 characters)
