IP address in trace log file name

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

We recently upgraded from 8.57 to 8.58 (and also moved from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7) and we noticed that our tracesql files now have an IP address in the file name instead of a the fully qualified domain name:

8.58:

<user_name>_IP_ADDRESS.tracesql

8.57:

<user_name>_FQDN.tracesql

This might simply be a configuration in Linux as there doesn't appear to be any settings in PeopleSoft to control this.

Any ideas?
