PTF: How do we prepare or plan for PTF in PeopleTools upgrade?

We have implemented PTF in Q1 of this year, so far we have been running the test cases as per the need and maintaining them. We are going to upgrade PeopleTools and update Image in Q1 of 2021. How do I prepare or plan from PTF perspective to assist with SIT testing ?

PTF provided following tools:

  1. Update Test
  2. Test Maintenance report
  3. Test upgrade report

But, Are there any sequence that needs to be followed ? or Are there any do's and don'ts? please share your experience and suggestions.
