BO_ID Unique Across Instances

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I am trying to determine if BO_IDs are unique across instances. I would like to be able to copy customer data from one environment to another. My concern is with the BO_ID potentially being duplicated in different environments. Does anyone know if this is an issue or the way the BO_ID is generated will be unique across any number of environments?
