How to create a Sample data file and a Schema file with an XML file data source?

We are on Peoplesoft Finance V9.2 with Tools 8.57.07.

We have applied all the Patches and Bugs for the 2020 Changes to the 1099 forms and processes.

We are using the Report Definitions APX1099CT and APX1099N and their corresponding Data Sources, APX1099 and APX1099N.

My question is how to create the Sample and Schema Files for these Data Sources.

My thought is to use the delivered query APX1099 and use XML output but the query was not updated accordingly with all the IRS changes.

So how do you create the Sample and Schema Files?
