PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) Implementation

Greetings,

I am doing some research on PTF, we are considering the tool to automate testing and also reviewing 3rd party applications. If anyone has implemented PTF can help provide feedback on the following it would be greatly appreciated.

*How long did it take to implement PTF?

*Did your team use consultants or was it an internal team? What training sources were used for internal team?

*Since implementation of PTF have you done an upgrade or applied patches or bug fixes? If so how did you handle the reconciliation of changes of meta data etc. With question I am trying to understand the process of updating the automated test. Understandably if something a 3rd party application my guess would need to recreate the automate test script in every instance of such occurrence.
