ORA-00312 is thrown restoring RMAN, creating physical standby

Hi I am trying to create a physical standby using RMAN backup. I am getting below error in the trc file when trying to restore the rman backup.

ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 1 of thread 1

ORA-00312: online log 1 thread 1: 'D:\ORADATA\DAMRO\REDO01.LOG'

ORA-27041: unable to open file

OSD-04002: unable to open file

O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.

…...……….

ORA-00312: online log 13 thread 1: 'D:\ORADATA\DAMRO\STANDBY_REDO04.LOG'

this continues for all "4 stand by redo logs and 3 online redo logfiles"

What is do is, start the database on mount mode > database using RMAN > restore database
