Will the deletion of accounting data of last periods affect the results of accounting for current pe

The question is not about archiving, but about the accounting algorithm in such modules as Process Manufacturing Finance and Inventories.

Please tell me at the close of the period, i.e. of the final accounting in the module Process Manufacturing are data for previous periods taken into account (for example, 5 years ago)? If so, how? Is each transaction calculated or is there some kind of table for storing the balance?

Will the deletion of accounting data, ledger and balance sheet for the period 2010-2015 affect the results of accounting for current and future periods (> = 2020)?
