Has anyone used BI Publisher to successfully report on data in a PS app as well as a 3d party app?

Hi,

We're a new implementation of Campus Solutions, and we're looking to use BI Publisher to automate a report using data in PeopleSoft, but also data that exists in a 3d party application. Before we start adding tables to PeopleSoft that can be used to hold the required data from the 3d party app, I was wondering if anyone had or knows of an easy way to us BI Publisher so that it can jointly use the PeopleSoft data as well as the data in the 3d party app by way of an XML or other exported data.
