Query Report Viewer (psxp_cq_report_viewer) connected query issue with parent query prompt

Hi, we are on pt 8.57.15 for hcm 9.2. While using the query report viewer for connected query as data source type, I'm noticing that any connected query that has prompt in the parent query shows a message popup box that said "Parent query returned no rows (241, 248) Parent Query does not returned any rows. Please check Query prompt values (if any)." therefore no report was being created. I heard from another person on the functional reporting team: "I had another connected query that I had created, which had a prompt in the parent query.
