Transaction_nbr in GP_ABS_EVENT Record is ZERO for few employees if the absence is from ESS Page

Hi - We are in tools pt8.55.12 and application version 9.2 . Pum image 19

Suddenly users have started facing the issue in absence management Self service request where we see when they submit a request through Fluid tile absences request absences it shows the absence already exists for the same date.

But they never show in view requests for the employee . In absence event page the transaction exists with wf_status as blank. Then further we see that the Transaction_nbr = 0 ,manager_Appr_Ind="N", WF_Status="" in  the PS_GP_ABS_EVNT record where as no row exists in PS_GP_ABS_SS_DAT record.
