Work Items in Deactivated Operating Units

Hi,

We are in the process of deactivating Operating Units which have work items assigned in them.

Is there a process to follow before deactivating (removing it from Operating Unit Collections Level) it so that the existing work items can be transferred to other OUs in the group. There are still work items assigned in shutdown OU.
