Navigation Collection Security

I created a tile from a navigation collection through Tile Wizard and gave access to a role. I'm able to click the tile and view the pages, but a test user who has the role just sees "You are not authorized for this page" when they click on the tile. They can see the tile, and can access the pages through normal navigation, so I'm wondering if there is some specific security related to tiles and/or navigation collections that I missed.
