PeopleTools 8.58 and Peoplesoft 9.1

Currently on PeopleTools 8.56 and PeopleSoft 9.1 - using Pension module only

We are looking into doing a PeopleTools 8.58 Upgrade only and was wondering if we also needed to upgrade the application to 9.2. Or if we can stay on 9.1 with Tools 8.58.

Also if we are able to upgrade to Tools 8.58, can we use Tiles for our custom pages?
