What is an alternative to the QAS_EXECUTEQRY_REST_GET?

We are unable to use the QAS_EXECUTEQRY_REST_GET service operation that uses queries that run for a long time. What is my alternative for allowing outside agencies to run long-running queries in our system and retrieve the results?
