DS7 Replication using start TLS

Hi,

I have Directory Server 11.1.1.7.190716. running on Solaris 11.4. Doc ID 1960294.1 says I need to set this in des.ldif:

ds-security-protocol-range: TLS1.2

and on restart the replication manager should connect and use starttls.

It isn't working:

[03/Mar/2021:11:36:08 +0000] conn=259 op=-1 msgId=-1 - fd=26 slot=26 LDAP connection from xx.xx.xx.xx:57190 to xx.xx.xx.xx

[03/Mar/2021:11:36:08 +0000] conn=259 op=0 msgId=1 - BIND dn="cn=replication manager,cn=replication,cn=config" method=128 version=3

Does anyone know if this should work, or is the detail in doc 1960294.1 incorrect?
