How Does the Instance code is populaed in Legacy collections program in Oracle ASCP

We have upgraded from 12.1.3 to 12.2.9 , recently . we are trying to run Legacy collections post upgrade we are not able to see the instance code .this was working fine earlier. we are able to see the Instance code in oracle standard collections but not in legacy collections. can any one help us on this?
