(9.2, 8.58/9) Mobile Experience?

By the end of the summer we will be on PeopleSoft HR/FS/SCM 9.2 and Tools 8.58/9.

How does the "mobile" experience work in these versions? In the past (decomissioned) you had a separate mobile portal and application?

My understanding is that "mobile" users just navigate via their mobile browser to PeopleSoft and interact with mobile optimized fluid pages / mobile approvals.

Am I incorrect? Is there some separate server setup? Some separate app people install on their phones or tablets?
